The PES&T’s Shaikh Group of Institutions, journey started in 1967, with the establishment of A.M.Shaikh Homeopathic Medical College at Belgaum by the late Dr. A.M.Shaikh. SGI main objective is to provide ‘Quality Education’ in professional courses to our youth. It is a matter of great pride that the trust now boasts of 8 institutions which provide educational opportunities to students ranging from Nursery to Post graduate level in a variety of streams ranging from medicines to Management.

“ PES&T’s Shaikh Group of Institutions” was established in the year 1967 by late Dr. A.M.Shaikh, an IAS officer who retired as commissioner of Belgaum. He belonged to a generation "who dared to dream".He was a great scholar, an outstanding administrator, an ardent homeopath and above all a great visionary.He transformed his vision into reality against all odds and built this great edifice of learning called A M Shaikh Homeopathic Medical College.He devoted his life for the development and popularisation of Homeopathy in this part of the country.
